The Creative Child is thrilled to bring a unique and engaging after-school program to Leo Baeck, delivered on-site at the school.
We aim to expand your child’s skills through this after-school program by fostering their artistic abilities through creative classes that spark imagination and curiosity
Through The Creative Child, we enrich your child’s creative potential.
From martial arts to visual arts, performance arts, yoga or culinary arts, we will spark their inner creativity.
Program Overview
Karate
Children will be introduced to the fundamentals of karate and martial arts while developing awareness, coordination, fitness, and body control. Through basic hand and footwork, beginner kicks and punches, students will also build confidence, focus, teamwork, respect, and discipline.
The Bake Shop
In this hands-on baking class, young bakers will learn to measure, mix, and bake a variety of sweet treats like cookies and cupcakes. Children will build kitchen skills, creativity, and confidence while having fun. Families will receive the recipe each week to recreate the treats at home.
Class Options
The Spring Term runs from April 20th to June 18th.
Karate (SK-Grade 2): Wednesdays 3:40-4:40 PM
The Bake Shop (Grade 1-Grade 4): Mondays 3:40-4:40 PM
Registration opens March 18th at 10:00am SHARP.
